Asian Garbanzo Spread

15 ounce can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp Dijon-style mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1/4 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
    Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth. Serve with Baked Pita Wedges. This is excellent as a dip or a spread.
